Every corporation and LLC owes at least $400 a year in minimum tax to the Division of Taxation on top of the $50 annual report, so a Rhode Island LLC costs at least $450 a year to keep. Revoked entities stay in the active database for one year and can lose the right to their name after that.
The public record of every Rhode Island LLC and corporation belongs to the Rhode Island Department of State, Business Services Division.
